I recently bought a super light and my son loves it and keeps taking it so I gave it to him. Sold my e-bike and bought a T-line. Such a cool and boring looking bike. I named him Bro Boring. Also saw a really cool bike on the wall at the store and have no idea what it is.

It’s an Alex Moulton bike, another very niche and expensive “folding” bicycle brand. They are pretty nice and definitely a conversation piece if you really are into spending money like that.
It’s a space frame Moulton – TSR or APB. Some of them can be disassembled, some of them can’t be. They come in an impressive range of configurations, including dual drive hub + derailleur gears like a 6 or 12 speed Brompton. Full suspension too. A new “double pylon” Moulton costs the same as about 5 T Line Bromptons lol. These space frame Moultons were first made in the 80s, but the 60s F frame Moultons are also excellent and share a lot of DNA with the Brompton – 16 inch wheels, rubber cone suspension, general shape.

The Alex Moultons are super cool in my opinion. If you’re looking for them in the UK then try The Traditional Bicycle Store, the manager Fran is super helpful too but some bikes have a long lead time. I have ordered a Double Pylon which is arriving in April next year!
