About 10 years ago, the American outdoor sports company REI was selling a line of German made full mountain bikes.
The brand wasGHOST and the model I am looking at is a 2016 SLAMR5. The bike is still listed on the REI website but they are a little KG about some of the details
Most of the reviews or YouTube Pike checks I’ve been able to find are from Europe. Which makes sense but it’s not clear to me if the model sold through REI had boost rear spacing or a basic 142 mm through axle.
Does anybody on the forum know about the REI model. I’m attaching a couple of pictures. It looks like it was only available in blue, but it looks nice.
The seller is firm at $500 which includes his helmet gloves and a bunch of lubes and polishes.

The spec looks decent enough for $500 but I wouldn’t expect much in the way of a warranty.
most likely 142, [higher end models had non-boost spacing for that year](https://mbaction.com/ghost-sla-mr-xlc8-keeping-it-real/) and the AMR line was designed to share as many frame components as possible across models to save money and time on building the frames, [the different travel options have the same frame but different lower shock mount for each version](https://www.pinkbike.com/u/mountainequipmentcoop/blog/mountain-bike-review-the-ghost-2016-sl-amr.html)
