    Check the bonded lugs every so often for cracks at the joints. Other than that it’s a great deal. If it delaminates at the joints it usually takes time to eventually fail but it’s not something you want to be unaware of.

    If it fits you, more than a fair price. In Portland, Or. you could maybe get, on the high end, $400 for it…

    Probably worth more than that to a collector if it’s in good shape but I wouldn’t ride an old bonded frame.

    I owned one of these lugged carbon bikes back in the day. Never liked it much, the frame was extremely flexible, to the point of the rear wheel running the stays under hard pedaling standing up. It also wasn’t any lighter than a steel or aluminum frame at half the price, and they have a very bad reputation for sudden unplanned disassembly when the glued lug joints fail. Like they did it with no warning at all sometimes.

    That said, the smaller frames are far more rigid, and were less prone to falling apart.

    It’s a piece of the history of bike technology, and since most of them broke long ago, it’s a rarity.
