I have roughly planned this tour for July. I want to spent the whole month and spend some additional time to see something. Daily distance should be something about 100km, so there's some room for variation.
Does anybody has some tips for that route. Some special bike routes or places to visit? I already discovered Kattegattleden for the first swedish part.

nice, could i ask what app you’re using for the planning?
good luck 🙂
No tips, but i live in Oslo. If you end up needing help for something while there, shoot a message!
In Denmark you can follow the North Sea Coast Cycle path. Denmark has tons of free shelters to sleep in, some even come with toilets, showers and fire wood.Â
In Sweden you are skipping the beautiful archipelago coast north of Gothenburg. Haven’t cycled there but I highly recommend staying close to the ocean and maybe even doing a detour to see more of it.
nice choice. Maybe I would go close to the coastline, I found that quiet nice.

for denmark have a look on the [https://shelterapp.dk/](https://shelterapp.dk/) app, excellent for shelters!
Why not until Christiansand-Hirsthals? I think the norway coastline might be more interesting in total. I will do Oslo-Christiansand next week, then I can tell you more…
Also a good application for shelter in Denmark, the old road was beautiful and calm
Include time to go all the way out to the sea at least some stretches of the Swedish and Norwegian coastline exploring the archipelagos, for example around Smogen, Fjallbacka, Hvaler and Verdens Ende. So beautiful!
If you can, check out the Valön naturreservat. Sort of a rock plateau formed during the ice ages, and you have a spectacular view onto the sea and the surrounding rocks. It was extremly windy when I was there though, so maybe only tent there if you find a sheltered niche. Or its just a nice change of scenery to walk around for like 1-2h instead of only sitting on your bike.
Ranebo Friluftsanläggning is a very lovely shelter as well, especially if it rains. You can choose either to stay in a real house if shit goes down, camp on the grass or next to the fireplace.
Quick tip for the first ferry after starting in Flensburg. Between Als and Bødjen. Book the ferry in advance if that is possible for you.
I wanted to take the ferry in may with my bicycle and all ferry spots were booked and it was not possible for me to ride that ferry that day.
But otherwise nice trip 👍 Good luck and have fun
Would love to see some results afterwards
I was last week on the North Sea Coast Cycling Path in Denmark, but in the oppositit Direction. The Official Part of the Path in Blokhus to Løkken is driving on the Beach, but the sand was to deep, i only ride is without my stuff. But with all my stuff it would be terrible. Also there was a short Part after Ferring in the dunes that was not passable.
But the nature and the Path were amazing. Have fun
I don’t think that part of Norway’s coastline is the most exciting, especially not when you’ve already been through the Swedish west coast. I would’ve rather considered taking the ferry from Strömstad to Sandefjord and do a loop through Telemark county before heading down towards Larvik (or maybe even Kristiansand). Then you’ll experience more of that typical Norwegian scenery.
The Sweden bit is rather boring imo. You would be much better off doing this distance along Norway coast instead. It would not be a nice circle on the map but who cares
