Just been given this bike, vintage steel frame road bike. It has no eyelets so thinking of putting P clamps on for a rear frame as planning on using it to carry shopping and travel to university. Would P clamps be ok and not damage the frame (it's not like the load will be that heavy); if so what would be good clamps to buy?
Thank you

Falcon always seem to have been tight when it came to mounting points. Maybe it was to save weight. I have one I’ve had since I was a teenager in the 90s that is the same.
P clips would be ok at the top but I’m unsure they’d hold that well at the bottom. I’d be tempted to get something like an Axiom Streamliner, which mounts to the axle and connects to the brake bridge. They also have swept back attachment points so you get more heel clearance and iirc have mounts on them so you can also then fit a mudguard if you plan to use the bike in the rain.
