Im curently in the market for a 2x gravel/hybrid bike to take on tours and ride fast and light with smaller tyres on the weekend (hence the need for 2x)
My budget is 1000e but ideally i wouldnt like to go over 700ish.
The cannondale seems ideal to me but its a 56cm and im 193cm with long legs and short torso and arms. The seller is asking for 700e and also lives in a way out town so i guess just picking up the bike would cost me.
The breezer seems to be a better fit as the seller specified he is also very tall and visibly raised the stem. He is also offering an extra unused cassete and 4 chains for 850e.
What i dont like about this bike is that its heavier and i dont think would be well suited for smaller tyres on the weekend as it can take up to 50c.
The cinelli i would have already bought if it had one more granny gear for the touring scenario and litterally any place to mount a bag . Im also confused about the geometry and sizing on the cinelli.
Its going for 560e
Im aware that looking for a bike that does many different things at once is crazy but i dont really have the space to hold more than 2 bikes in my appartment (a beater single speed for commuting and a nice bike)
Oppinions?

  1. Personally I’d go for the cannondale. The geometry of the breezes seems weird. The cinelli looks fairly aggressive. Not sure what the frame set is but it looks like a CX bike to me. I love my CX bike, but the geometry of a CX bike isn’t as comfortable for beginners or commuting.

The primary reason I’d get the cannondale is because it appears to have hydraulic disc brakes. The other two seem to have cable actuated disc brakes. Hydraulic disc brakes are significantly better than cable disc brakes. Better brake modulation and overall power. Plus, cable actuated disc brakes on the two bikes suggests fairly old and outdated group sets on both of them. They would both be sufficient, but the cannondale offers more up to date components and seems to have better gearing, fit adjustments, mounting spaces for bags and fenders, etc.
