Did my first 2 night solo bikepacking trip – Eastern side of the Farmer’s Folly route.

I just want to thank Scott the cyclist I met from Fergus who warned me that the Luther Marsh section is a buggy, mud-to-your-knees, lifting your bike over metal barriers hell-on-wheels.

“You’ll know if it’s too buggy as you pull up to the gate”.

Correct! Water table almost to the road and heavy deer flies before you hike the bike over the first gate. The road around it was just lovely and still saw a ton of birds and flora and butterflies!

Thank you Scott!!! Hope to run into you again!

Rest of the route was lovely.
