A new BB is one way to fix this.
You might be able to repair that by taking the BB apart, cleaning it up, replacing the bearings (you’re probably missing a few), adding some new grease and putting it back together. That assumes the spindle and cups are OK, which you won’t know until you take it apart and clean it up.
