No it’s very old, has bad specs, just a road bike and not a time trial bike. 2×9 must be 20 years old.
And honestly, how tall are you? 155cm? It looks good me like a size for kids.
So it’s a very bad idea

There are some condition issues with this bike that are concerning. The biggest is the rear brake lever / shifter. It does not match and is not original. It is taken from a much older bike and is obviously damaged and worn. I would recommend skipping this based on that alone. The brake lever shifters are a very expensive component and something you are always touching while riding. There are other concerns as well, but I’ll leave it there for this one.
Contrary to the other response, I think a road bike is perfectly fine for a first time triathlete. You should not be getting into a triathlon race bike immediately. They are more difficult to ride and physically demanding. You will spend hundreds of hours training before your race and a road bike is much safer on streets.

A standard road bike is fine for triathlons. You can add aero clip-on bars. If you want to be very competitive, then a triathlon / time-trial bike is best, but I would not recommend for a beginner.
