Hi all, just got a brand new TCR with 105 Di2. I'm trying to put my power metre cranks on, have removed the non drive side crank but am struggling to get any movement out of the drive side crank.
I have tried using a rubber mallet but no luck. It's really stuck in there.
Any tricks to get it out? Will is loosen after a few rides and that's what I need to do?
Thanks!

Hit it harder, there’s nothing but friction keeping it in
Put your bike on the driveside. Flood the area of the non-drive side of the crank axle with WD 40 or other penetrating oil. Wait an hour. Hit again with rubber mallett.
If you are afraid of ruining the threads, place a piece of soft wood between the mallet and the crank. Gravity also helps.
Block of wood over end of crank and increasing levels of percussive maintenance.
Don’t use WD40 if you’re wanting to re-use the existing bottom bracket. It’ll penetrate the bearings and flush all the grease out.
As others have said, block of wood against it and tap firmly with hammer. It’s stiff because it’s all so new but once you break the initial stickiness it’ll slide straight out.
Just more force. It’ll get loose eventually.
Just out of curiosity and for learning, what’s causing this? Can the BB bearing cavities in the frame be misaligned or something?
Use a piece of wood, whack the piece of wood really really good.
Thanks all- got it out, just needed a bigger hit than I thought!
These are one of the times a dead blow rubber mallet comes in useful
