This bike (https://www.canyon.com/en-us/road-bikes/race-bikes/ultimate/cfr/ultimate-cfr-di2/3325.html?dwvar\_3325\_pv\_rahmenfarbe=R102\_P01) is 30% marked down, making it start to look attractive. But, Canyon support is not so readily available and I have some questions.
Wondering what you all have to say:
- Main concern is the Saddle and Seat Post: 90kg weight limit on this saddle. I'm 6'3" 35" inseam, so I need an XL. My weight is heavier than the spec allows for. Is this a non-starter? I can just swap the saddle obviously? but a couple of reviews cast some doubt on this.
- While a few reviews complain about this saddle, one in particular is most concerning, saying that the "Seat post and seat clamp only work on the Selle Italia carbon saddle (world's lightest and most uncomfortable saddle on the planet) that it came with. I tried 3 other saddles and all of them rocked back and forth after tightening to prescribed 16NM. Seat post is a really cool design, but essentially worthless." So looks like swapping the saddle might be complicated? Agree or not?
- Cockpit. Canyon CP0018 Aerocockpit (Aero design, reinforced carbon walls for added stiffness and improved durability). This is Canyon's last gen cockpit. (But there are a few features of the new gen CP I like, such as swapping in aero drops, if desired, and spacers to adjust the height (for increased comfort on longer, more endurance rides, or slammed for a more aero rides))
- Anyone one know if I can get aero drops for this TBar?
- And spacers to raise it?
Thanks!
(This will be my first road bike and there's a lot I don't know. In case you're curious about why I'm leaning into the ultimate vs. aeroad vs. endurance: I want a good all-round bike, that I can grow into and ramp up my performance metrics. Living in NYC and will also ride upstate. Mixed terrain. And felt like ultimate can accommodate both the long rides and the quick rides without being too exclusively one or the other. Especially why I like the flexibility of the new gen cockpits!)

For Aero bars you need an Ultimate model with a CP0048 cockpit.
