hello guys and welcome back to another video if you’re new around here then my name is London Hustle and you join me on a Sunday afternoon here in London out on the bike doing some deliveries and I just got my first order come through from Joe and the Juice now today is a very special day because we’re out on an ebike but not any ebike this is the ADO Air20 Plus it’s their brand new model that they brought out and this isn’t actually available to the public yet we’re on a demo bike right now so I am the first person in the world to ever do deliveries on this bike which is pretty cool and I’m going to give my thoughts and opinions on it throughout today’s video i did try their Air20 model last year if you remember in my 7 days 7 bike seven cities challenge so I’ve got a good frame of reference to base this bike off and let’s see have they actually improved it right first customer is 10 minutes away from us which I don’t think is too bad i have completely forgot how much this order was paying me i’ll let you know once I drop it off cuz it’s a Sunday there is going to be a lot of traffic out on the roads at this time of day especially when it’s a nice sunny day like this a lot of people out as well now one thing you might notice about this bike is if you look at the handlebars we don’t have any gear shifters that’s cuz it’s technically a single speed bike it’s only got one cog at the back and one at the front or say the front at the uh down near the pedals however we do have three gears because this is a new motor technology they’re testing out in a small bike like this and it actually has three different gears inside the motor that automatically kind of work for themsel there we go second gears just kicked in i just felt that now as I started picking up speed that’s crazy i’ve used motors like this before in bigger bikes but they’ve never really felt too natural and there seems to be a lag of when they kick in but riding this bike so far the gears seem to kick in whenever you want them to like there we go second gear now and boom there we go third gear that works really well i’m quite impressed it’s really beneficial having a motor like that that can switch between gears for you automatically if you don’t have gear shifters up here because when you’re at a stop at a traffic light you don’t want to be in the same gear you are riding flat like this because then it makes it harder to set off if that makes sense say we had gears on this bike and I’m coming to a stop I’d go into a low gear so when I set off there’s less resistance it’s easier for me to pedal away whereas if I’m riding flat like this I’d move up a few gears just so I’m not wasting my energy down in the pedal strokes and this motor is doing that automatically for me it’s kind of crazy i have no idea how that technology works but it does and let’s see if it keeps it up let’s see if we have any issues with it all right seven more minutes on the clock let’s go [Music] hia hi thank you you’re welcome can I grab the coat 49 thank you 49 thank you have a good day you too there we go first delivery on the ADO Air20 Plus Ultra ultra it’s a bit of a tongue twister this one but there we go first one complete one thing I have to say and it was the same with the first version of this bike I tried is they’re so smooth like everything is just built so nicely on these bikes there’s no rattling around no noise they just you’re like in harness with the bike it’s like you are one that might sound really strange but that’s how it feels just got oursel an order come through from Nando which is right here picking up 10 chicken wings with two sides oh that is such a poor side choice two regular chips 6311 perfect thank you mate okay thank you oh this Nando smells amazing shame on the sides though who goes for regular chips at Nando oh wow the customer is so close as well it’s telling me they’re 1 minute away nice easy order this one one thing as well about this bike is the handlebars are quite small just like the rest of the bike so fitting down the side of traffic not a problem there is no suspension on this bike as well which means it is designed for just roads like this smooth tarmac although being in London don’t know how smooth you can call the roads here to be fair most of them are okay but yeah some are just so bad i’m getting an order before I’ve even dropped this off oh my god £2413 double order though and it’s going 18 miles all the way over to Stratford now I would love to test this bike out but I just think that is a big ask and that is miles away from my home as well so by the time I get there doing 20 m on this bike we’re going to decline that i know so many of you are probably screaming for me to take that cuz it is a really big order but just way too far oh look at the little doggy proper in the back street so I don’t think I’ve ever been down here before oh getting another order come through £4.97 that one we will do we’re about to see a very rare site on this channel i’m going up to the apartment so I’m going to lock up the bike i say lock it up i’m just going to stick a a lock through the back wheel here cuz there’s nothing really to latch on to all right thank you oh this is the gate all right mate can I grab the codes thank you there you enjoy nice easy one there did have to come up a few flights of stairs but wasn’t too bad now we got a 3minut journey to our next pickup oh it’s going to be like Oh we’re not going down the canal but it’s parallel to the canal that would have been a nice little ride if that was along the canal fan of with the ADO bikes is to turn them on it it takes ages for the screen to actually turn on you have to hold the button down for quite a while and then it turns on like maybe like 5 to 10 seconds after which you know for most people isn’t going to be a big issue people aren’t turning their bike on and off all the time you probably turn it on when you leave the house ride to work ride to the shop and that’s it you’re not stopping starting all the time so this is quite niche cuz I’m a delivery driver stop starting a lot but it would be nice if it was just that little bit faster so we’re picking up from Co-op just here and I quickly checked just to make sure it wasn’t going to be a really heavy order and the customer has gone for just a chocolate milkshake one chocolate milkshake i think they must have had a craven there we go one chocolate milkshake oh wait that’s not even a milkshake what is that they’re frozen chocolate strawberries oh that’s cool oh that’s not good news i’ve just seen customer is 13 minutes away 2.4 miles when I accepted this order I thought they were much closer than that that’s not ideal but silver lining is we get to give this bike a good proper test on a big journey see how it holds up the belt is actually a carbon belt as well it’s not a regular chain link belt i’ll show you a little bit more about it later but I do like these because they’re much less maintenance and they’re more resilient as well so you have a lot less issues with them a lot less servicing and they’re more reliable as well don’t get like missed gears or missed links how you do sometimes in a chain where it can slip he’s going to walk out yep all right 2.1 miles on the clock and let’s go [Music] i am about [Music] down [Music] this is a beautiful little street down here never been here before this is a place I would not mind living in London it’s quite close to the center but it’s just so quiet around here look at that even got a free sofa oh yeah there you are you’re welcome enjoy oh that was such a pleasant little drop off there i feel like I’m not in London around here feel like I’m in like a little small town somewhere did just get myself an order come through from Dash and it was going all the way over to Camden which is pretty much the opposite side to where I am right now but I thought Camden’s a nice area to go to and Dash is such a good restaurant as well you guys love when I pick up from Dash there’s always big lines outside Dash i’ve never actually tried it myself but I really need to try it apparently it’s one of the best Indian spots in the whole of the UK so I’m a big Indian food lover so I don’t know i feel like I should test that out but I am well 7 minutes away from it if something else come through before that looks a bit better I’ll take that instead but for now we’re going to head to Tum pick up some Indian food sometimes with these small bikes the control doesn’t feel too good on them but that is not the case on the ADO bikes you feel very in control of them look we can go around the sides of this easy yeah even though the tires are super small and the handlebars as well for some reason the control is just really good it doesn’t feel unstable at all i should mention as well there is three level modes of assist on this bike one I wouldn’t even really bother with it’s kind of pointless two it’s okay but I would recommend just sticking it straight up into the third it’s not ultra powerful like it’s not huge big powerful motor so just being at the maximum feels nice it’s like a nice stable amount of assist and it’s not powerful enough to drain the uh battery too fast oh I’m getting another order in here this might be a little bit nicer actually £848 is it a double order yes it is and first one is dropping off just below Camden Town and the other one’s dropping off in Queen’s Square central London let’s do that why not all right what are we picking up from Momos okay both orders are from here first one’s gone for some yakasabi noodles with chicken teriyaki and the second customer’s gone for teriyaki grilled chicken thighs with rice and vegetables here I got two orders thank you oh that place smelt good as well why is everywhere smelling so good i think it’s cuz I haven’t eaten anything wow this is a huge journey though 29 minutes 4.3 mi we are really putting this little bike through its paces today i mean this bike was designed for people commuting to work just riding around your city going to the shops don’t think it was made for these huge long distances doing deliveries so this is really going to be a big test for this bike let’s see if it holds up what a perfect day for it though no rain it’s not cold nice bit of sunshine coming through but not too hot as well i think it’s around 16° perfect riding temperature i feel like I have chosen a good day to do this these grips are quite comfortable as well it’s their own ones well I think it is it’s got their logo on it but sometimes with ebikes you get companies putting these like rubbery or plasticky grips on some of them leave marks or loads of black stuff all over your hands not quite comfortable um especially for long periods of time these they seem like leather maybe a fake leather they aren’t really that grippy like they’re quite smooth i know that’s quite ironic cuz they’re called grips but usually with the textures it makes them more grippy and you need them on things like mountain bikes because you’re going to be jumping all over the place uh going through twists and turns also quick one cockney is just there they do traditional pie and mash a friend put me on to that the other day and it’s so good and so cheap so if you’re ever in the Notting Hill Portella road area would definitely recommend that if you want some classic British food for a reasonable price yeah as I was saying like you don’t need really good grips on these that are not going to move your hands about too much because you’re just riding around the streets on tarmac so you know nothing crazy i’d rather comfort and that’s what they’ve gone for here so yeah big fan of them the famous Trellic Tower just in front of us as well loads of you love to see that building is a really cool building but it always reminds me of Finn and Furb actually delivered inside of there before to the top floor and the view you get from that left column is stunning you can see whole of London from it hopefully in the future we get another order from there so I can show you again one thing I will say about this bike is though don’t expect the bike to do all the work for you this is a pedal assist ebike it has a torque sensor so what that means is the amount of pressure you put into the pedal it’s going to give that back to you up to like a certain amount where it maximizes that so you are going to be working in tandem with the bike it’s not going to do all the work for you but I like that cuz it gives a really natural feel look at this we’re going to be able to get up hills as well that’s this is the good thing about a torque sensor is hills so there’s two different sensors you can get on ebikes torque sensors and cadence sensors a cadence sensor basically there’s a ring with a load of magnets on it and then there’s a laser um attached at a fixed point and what the laser does is measure the speeds the rings are going around at so it’s how quickly you’re pedaling that’s how much speed or power the motor is going to give you so if you imagine you’re going up a hill obviously it’s harder to pedal so you’re not going to be pedaling as fast or if you’re just starting from a stop you know you’re not going to be able to pedal fast straight away you It takes you a while to get a few pedal cranks in there so there’s always a bit of a delay and a barrier with the cadence sensors with going uphill and starting from a stop whereas the torque sensors don’t have that because once it feels that pressure it then kicks in so you don’t have to do a full rotation you don’t have to go around a few times it’s soon as it feels the pressure the torque sensor kicks in so from an ebike riding perspective it does feel more natural that way don’t get me wrong cadence sensors there is some scenarios where I do think they’re a bit better but for casual riding I think a torque sensor is definitely the best they’re usually more expensive as well which is why you don’t really see them on a lot of the budget ebikes or the lower priced ebikes also I’m very happy we’re going down the canal right now although that thing looks like it’s sinking what is going on here sorry thank you mate last time I rode down this part of the canal it did not look as bad as this it’s usually quite a beautiful canal to drive down oh my god that one’s like fully submerged what is happening around here just going down Edgeware Road now there’s so much traffic going back the other way so central London is down here well I’ll say central London you got Hide Park at the end of this road here this is one of the main roads that takes you from that area to kind of North London or out of London so it is a very busy road usually but usually at this time of day it’s much more busy going this way than that way so I’m not sure what’s going on still got 14 minutes to get to this customer feel like I’ve been riding forever i’d love to tell you exactly how much battery percent we’ve got but there’s no actual like gauge on here well there is so you got a battery you’re not going to be able to see it too well here we’ve got like like a battery symbol you know how you get on your phone but it doesn’t tell you the number of percent you’ve got left and there’s not bars inside of it so you can’t really see too well you can kind of make a rough guess and my best guess right now is that we’ve dropped about 20% since starting which I don’t think is too bad it wasn’t 100% full when I came out either but I don’t know how accurate that is that’s just a rough guess tell you what I’m getting really hungry though it’s been a while since I’ve done an ebike video so not used to this much pedaling and it’s making me work up an appetite so we might have to stop and get ourselves some lunch at some point and this is only for the first customer by the There’s another customer after this so this is one huge order and I think I was paying around8 or 9 oh that’s really nice look at that london is so nice when the sun’s out it’s just in my opinion the best city in the world during summer oh it’s sending me through here through a little park don’t know if I’m allowed to cycle through here but Google’s taking me this way anyway so we’re going to do it feel like I should definitely not have come this way ended up in some little market here what is this like a farmers market mistake i’m a little bit stuck here there we go we’re out we have escaped that did not help with my hunger though some of that food smelt really good there’s a few of them dotted all around London there’s one near where we started the video in Queens Park it happens every single Sunday it’s like a farmers market so what I think it is is the farms around the London area or within like a certain vicinity they can come and sell their produce or they can come and make their produce and sell it in the form of like burgers and there’s someone who does like guozas different types of drinks things like that it’s quite a cool little idea and there’s a few of them dotted around London on Sundays so if you are in London on a Sunday I’d recommend having a little Google search and seeing if there’s any near where you’re staying they are quite nice they tend to be a little bit pricey cuz you’re buying direct from source and they’re quite bougie as well to be honest with you but if it’s just a one-off then it’s something quite nice to do you can also listen to a lot of rich people do their grocery shopping at the farmers market as well which is sometimes quite fun my god still 6 minutes to go got the BT tower there in the distance we are officially in central London one quick thing we desperately need to h is your delivery driver i’m just downstairs is it from No no okay there you are you’re welcome grammy customer not coming how long you been waiting have you been waiting long maybe it’s her don’t think you knew what I was saying we’ve got a 4minute journey to the second customerso much quicker than getting to the first one and we are now down in central London hey there you go sir enjoy my god it feels so good to have that off my back that was a long long delivery i’ll tell you what one thing I found out from that is if I was to keep this bike which I can’t because it’s a demo bike and I have to give it back to them I would definitely be upgrading the seat this seat is not the one for me and I know a seat is a very personal preference to a lot of people some people would love this seat but for me I want something a bit bigger a bit bit more cushiony especially doing long journeys and being out for hours at a time doing deliveries but apart from that no complaints really smooth ride i feel like even with the lack of suspension and it’s only got small tires as well it’s still very comfortable like you do feel the bumps and grooves in the road which is just part and parcel with small bikes like this but yeah it’s just all solid and put together really nicely definitely one of the smoothest riding experiences I’ve had from a small electric bike got Soho on our right hand side now i think if I don’t get a good order come through in a second I’m going to go grab myself some lunch quite close to Chinatown might go to the Chinatown bakery it’s nice quick cheap very delicious oh we are getting an order come through though from Boots in Piccadilly Circus 5.97 though it is looking busy around this part of London oh we’re getting an order come through as well from Gmate which I think is in Chinatown where is that going just south of the river 6 though the reason I’m rejecting these more than I usually would is because I’m absolutely starving so I want to get myself some food first and then we’ll start accepting some orders wow it is busy that is to be expected on a Sunday here in Chinatown [Music] all right mate just those two please y I’m going to eat it now anyway kiss me thank you got the two absolutely classic gross pork bun and a garlic bun as well the garlic bun is so so good but if you’re planning on getting with anyone soon after don’t get it cuz your breath is going to stink going to try find a nice little scenic spot to sit down and have this i was going to go Lester Square but but that is looking like chaos in there so so busy might just find a little back street somewhere pull up and eat this there we go that would do wouldn’t it for anyone who’s not seen these before let me show you how nice these are so soft and spongy and inside you just got like roasted pork beautifully seasoned so so good lunch has been eaten oh what is going on there eid McBar oh is it Eid now it’s a huge sort of um parade or gathering something going on over there there’s so many people oh my god wow and they’ve blocked off the whole of Trafaga Square for it yeah I’ve just eaten all my food gone back online now my plan is that I’m going to head down towards the Big Ben London Bridge see if we can pick up any orders from around there i also just like going around the nice spots of central London on a day like today when it’s busy makes London feel alive i can hear bag pipes from somewhere what is going on can you guys hear the bag pipes what is happening here [Music] see never a dull day in London excuse me guys hello excuse me [Music] hey guys excuse me hello hola bonjour benjam Hello um hello hola there we go this bridge is something else man this bike lane shouldn’t be a bike oh my god I’m going to get attacked by a bloody pigeon this is one of the most chaotic bike lanes hello mate excuse me hello did we make it to the other side i think we might have i think it’s been a little while since you saw me you might be able to tell but I’m up near Regent’s Park at the moment when I last left you I think we were down in like Soho somewhere around there i’ve done three orders since then but my camera has just been bugging out so I’m not sure if any of the footage has actually captured but we’re currently at £37.84 the time is 2:00 just gone 2:00 so what’s that about 2 hours just over 2 hours so I don’t think that’s too bad i think that’s actually quite good it’s been a fun little shift that is going to be it for deliveries in today’s video not going to lie to you guys my uh my backside is aching a little bit on this seat getting old now 25 comfort’s number one priority but before we do end today’s video let’s do a little recap and a debrief on this bike so here’s a closer look at the ADO Air20 Ultra we used in today’s video one of if not the best looking small electric bike on the market in my opinion now its main upgrade from its predecessor the Air20 is this is this motor down here in the back wheel this is a Buffang 36V 250 W motor and it has an automatic 3speed internal gear hub which means it basically shifts for you don’t ask me what in the AI is going on but it seemed to work in today’s video that was really really impressive now I did mention earlier there’s no suspension on this bike and I was wrong i was such an idiot because there is suspension here i was thinking why is this bike so smooth and it is cuz there is a bit of suspension so you really do feel that and it makes a difference i was just an idiot for not noticing that before now we do have really small tires if you are riding in a place with potholes or maybe tram lines just be careful cuz obviously smaller tires you’re going to feel more of the impact there the battery actually is the down tube for the seat so this whole thing down here is the battery we should probably turn that off while I’m not riding and it’s a 37V 10 amp hour battery which is actually quite small for a battery however because of the way this bike work and the way it’s got a torque sensor a carbon belt and a really good motor you still get a lot of distance out of the bike even though it’s got a relatively small battery and talking about the carbon belt here it is down here i love these things they’re very low maintenance nothing really goes wrong with them at least I’ve never experienced a problem with them they’re just awesome and I’m really happy that ADO have adapted this into their bike now the thing I least liked about this bike was the seat and this is just personal preference but for me this is just not a comfortable seat and you might think “Oh wait but if that’s the battery then you can’t change the seat.” But luckily you can because the seat is actually separate up here so you can actually swap out the saddle and if you want something comfier you can just stick something comfier on seats are probably one of the most if not the most swapped out part of a bike so it’s all down to personal preference moving up to the handlebars here is our display you have to hold down the power button for quite some time it’s quite a simple display although you will see on our battery we are now gone down to red so I don’t know how much that’s left cuz I can’t see a percentage but maybe 20 25% something like that you got your up and down buttons to move between the different modes of which there is three of them in the middle you can see your speed and at the bottom you can see total amount of distance you’ve covered i’ve done 51 km on this bike which is quite a lot and we’ve still got some charge left which is good very very simple handlebar structure not really much going on up here you do have hydraulic disc brakes which is good these grips they’re not grippy but they are comfortable and I like that so overall a very solid bike i will leave a link down below if you want to get one for yourself now this bike has already got 100 times better just by the fact we put our own London Hustle dust caps on if you want to get a pair for yourself londonhustle.com or link in the bio if you want to upgrade your bike car or plane if you got a plane who knows that is going to be it for today’s video thank you so much to all the members who are on screen right now and like always thank you for watching

  1. Hey I visited london a while back and visited the tourist sites and was able to visit east side of london area due to love of Soap Opera set there and the West End Theater area. Its great to see other parts of london I didn't get to see on my trip. including UK specific Restaurants.

  2. Watching you cycle alongside the canal gives me real anxiety. It's not something I could do if there are no barriers, I'd be terrified of falling off and falling in.

  3. Europe is so lucky. You can ride a bike and do deliveries. Do you know how much weight I'd drop if I could delivery on a bike?? Then again, I live in the U.S. and we are very anti-anything-except-a-debt-inducing-gas(petrol)-sucking-environmental-disaster. So I'm stuck in using a car haha. Cheers and happy delivering from Florida!

  4. I think you need to carry an air horn when crossing bridges like that , that will shift people lol. As always , another wonderful upload .

  5. Thanks for the great video ! A killer not having any rear view mirrors (having some, and of course using them…). Please let the company know about that, and give us your personal feelings about it too, as that's one of the most important things that can save a cyclist from dying on the road…

  6. Each to their own. Busy London with tons of people. Or quiet country village with next to no one. Village every day. But still interesting watching the other side.

  7. I live in Wales. I can drive to your country. I drive to a country like a couple of days ago to go to Bristol Airport to fly to Spain.😮 Spain was really fun
