Hello guys !
I might have an issue with my rear wheel. I received my Canyon a month ago, did a bike fitting, and have been riding it lightly on short and reasonable rides so far, around 30–40 km each time. The problem is that I’m getting a creaking noise and small clicking sounds, mainly when I’m in the small chainring and large cog… so, logically, on climbs, it’s pretty awful, my bike creaks quite a bit. I’ve checked and had my drivetrain checked by a mechanic, nothing stands out there. However, we think it might be coming from the Zipp freehub on the rear wheel.
There are no other tightening issues on the bike, and when stationary there’s no noise, it only happens when under load, which makes it really annoying.
I’ve contacted Canyon, but I wanted to ask if any of you have experienced something similar and if it’s a hassle to deal with this kind of issue through Canyon/Zipp?
Thank you!

I am by no means a mechanic. But that the problem lies in the wheel, when you only have the noise on a certain chainring/cog combination, doesn’t sound logical to me. I had similar problems and it always was the drivetrain
do you have (or can you borrow) another wheel that you can swap over to test quickly to confirm your theory?
I don’t know about your problem but that paint job looks mint. Beautiful
