This is not an ad – I just hadn’t visited my new local bike dealership, a Superbike Factory that’s opened on the old P&H site in Crawley. So join me as I hunt down some used-bike bargains and see which of the store’s stock I’d pick if I wasn’t about to break all my bones on a Tenere 700. Apologies for any heavy breathing, I have got fat.

Featuring: Triumph Speed Triple 1050RS, Honda Crossrunner (no, really), Speed Triple 1200RR, Honda Fireblade, Ducati Multistrada 1200S, Kawasaki Z H2, BMW R NineT, Honda CrossTourer (I didn’t accidentally write that twice), Yamaha MT-10 (obviously) and more.

hello welcome back to the channel of nonsense welcome to Gatwick and um yes it hasn’t escaped me that motorbike prices are ridiculous at the moment the price of new bikes as I’ve discussed in other videos is playing a big part in a bit of a downturn in motorbike sales and downturn of the number of dealers we have available and it does feel a bit a bit remissive me to go around talking about shiny new motorbikes that are expensive and not affordable to lots of people and actually as part of this story my local bike dealership closed down p& here in kind of Gat Crawley area back in October 2024 I think it was but the space hasn’t been wasted it has reopened as a super bike Factory and I’m sure lots of you are familiar with the super bike Factory as I understand it it’s kind of a PM High sell them cheap no comeback secondhand bike shop where they don’t really prep their bikes they just put them on sale and you you’re buying what you’re seeing as it stands which sounds fine if you’re very price sensitive I’ve never been to them there’s lots of them all over the country I think they started up in Derby or something like that but this is the first one anywhere near me so I’m on my way on the 10 700 to check it out and see what’s what now they might not let me film inside when in which case this video won’t be going out but hopefully they will and I’ll just pick out some of the interesting things from their Mammoth list of stock I’m turning up unannounced so let’s see how we get on at the super bik Factory and see if there are actually secondhand Bargains that would temp me away from new stuff let’s have a look oh it is weird not seeing the p& uh The p& Branding oh hello our part next to you proper old Tiger 955 lovely I do believe Jeff Hill did some Big Adventures on them right let’s go and check it out super bike Factory it’s still got I don’t know if that’s the old branding stickers in the window from p& Kawasaki trium f a pretty a BMW are they allowed to use those logos oh we’ll find out there’s a clothing bit next door in what used to be the Honda dealer cuz interestingly for me if you’re a Honda dealer you have to have a separate building for your Honda franchise to the other brands I’ve just washed this and now I’ve got W bum right they’ve agreed to let me film inside so this is the old p& site here is large and it’s uh yeah if you never been to one of these which I haven’t it’s a proper Aladdin’s Cave p& used to have lots of walls in here but this this is vast look at this it’s like an Aladdin’s Cave of shiny things that will or may or may not financially ruin you so there used to be lots of dividers who never really got a size at the scale but they’ve knocked lots of the walls through um and filled it motorbike so let’s going to have a look see if we can find any used bike Bargains actually I’m going to start over here CU I’ve got a soft spot for these the old 1050 speed triples I winge on the channel a lot about how the new engine isn’t as fun as the old one this is 1050 speed RS it’s a 2018 plate less than 10,000 miles on it it’s got £ 7,800 on it that looks mint and obviously you got the carbon panels this one’s got the AR exhaust on it that’s a lot of bike from under 8 Grand it’s barely used now my dad used to have one of these Thruxton 900 he had a red one I think did he crash that into a car I can’t remember he might have just falling off that one some hyper motards as well but no 950s now these I do like a katana I don’t think these sold very well had a tiny fuel tank so it’s got the old K5 gixer engine Jer engine so you can go very fast but not for very far and I think that’s reflected in the price this one’s done 3,000 Mi it’s a 2019 plate it’s £ 6,300 I mean I don’t know I don’t really get the Retro thing I’m a bit bit young for that couple of SVS as well and down here somewhere yeah do you remember these the Suzuki keep beaking I used to read Bike Magazine religiously when these were new and I always thought yeah it’s like Judge Dread got very angry basically I think it’s a high Booter engine Naked Bike isn’t it so these always a bit Marite 7 and 1 12 Grand 2010 152,000 Mi ERS this one which has got 10,000 Mi for 8 Grand and some very tastful flame decals and Loud exhausts delightful that one’s got aard on it as well I think it have to be a certain type of person to pull that off and I don’t think I’m that sort of person right what else have we got right vfr800 so 2015 vfr800 basically the same bike Honda has always sold I really like the idea of these this one’s got 15,000 mi on it it’s just over £4,800 but the sensible brain in me not I’ve got much of one says that you can actually buy a Honda that’s over here now I still have the VFR 1200 they’re quite quirky they’re quite heavy and then they put the engine in an adventure style bike lacrosse tour so I rode one of these once it was hilarious it’s one of the most top heavy bikes I’ve ever ridden but yeah 1,200 cish V4 it’s not exactly over owed in the brake Department there’s another one here as well and another one so yeah these are about 6 and 1/2 Grand with this one’s got 8,000 m miles on it so if you want a V4 that’s got some serious Grunt and isn’t as uncomfortable as a VFR 1200 that would be my suggestion now you had the cross tourer had the cross dresser and also does anyone remember this the cross Runner I did the nc500 on one of these around the top of Scotland and it was great it’s a sit up and bag of fr800 basically this one’s got some crash bars and wanker lights on it 5 half grand for Honda V4 12,000 M on it this one is a late 2018 model they they hustle I mean it’s not sexy it’s got the wrong way up forks and all the rest of it as in right way up forks and this one is in Doom gray but honestly if you like your V4 Thrills and you’ve got a bad back consider one of those okay 2012 jaati Multistrada 1200 S I think with the erling sharks the Brembo brakes this one’s got mat paint and three case luggage I had one of these or a slightly later model I had a 2013 version with the sky hook suspension this is a great bike it still feels like an 1198 engine they hadn’t really got around softening off the bottom end it still felt vicious it still felt nasty it’s got just under 10,000 M on it and it’s 6 grand 6 grand that’s half the price of the new tene I’m going to buy what am I doing yeah you could do with some slight Tiding up of the radiator and all the rest of it but that is going to be a great bite for someone that wants to tour and actually do a bit scratching as well now this is basically my old bike I had a 21 plate KTM 1290 Super Adventure s it tickled my pickle it was exceptionally entertaining especially in rally mode I loved it I had to sell it to a guy in grease to get rid of one of mine and uh one of mine my one this one is 117 which is what I sold mine for and I had 3,000 Mi more in it than this so this feels like a little bit of a bargain if you want to KTM which is obviously a bit of a Hot Topic at the moment now we’ve got some other things tiger sport that’s very on Trend now that we’ve got the 800 one this 1050 is a 2015 bike 5,400 got pias got the slight metallic Sheen in the paintwork or is it just dust I don’t know some proper tires that is going to be a good Touring bike multi Strada multi Str multi Strada this white one is a bit of a billy bargain this one is under £6,000 there we go 26,000 M on it which is why it’s so cheap and also it needs a bit of repair work to the front and and someone needs to take the rim tape off it to get another lease of life but yeah the thing here is you just got so much variety Under One Roof like even in a multi franchise new bike dealer you don’t get the same amount of variety as Sam Fender going to copyright strike my video this is another bike that is very tempting under £7,000 r9t this is a 2015 model they didn’t really change much so just get the earliest one you want and yeah one to fit your budget and then add all the Billet stuff to it this one’s just over £6,000 it’s got some cylinder head protection on it great bikes great little summer scratcher right let’s going to have a look at some stuff out front Okay we’re in the Yamaha Naked Bike corner now I’ve got m7s a first gen mt10sp for just under £10,000 don’t buy that buy my one but there is a second gen mt10 here for just over 10 grand with 1,600 miles on it it’s on a 72 plate so late 2022 220 quid a month if you take their Finance I love the standard mt10 almost as much as I love my SP version that is a silly amounted bike for just over 10 grand this is rare you can’t really see it cuz it’s backlit it says don’t touch it because it’s probably the most expensive bike in here it’s £22,000 cuz it’s a rocket 3 TFC look at that don’t think I’ve ever seen one of these you’ve got all the brushed aluminium gold trinkets on there carbon bits got a little TFC badge there Arrow exhausts I think that’s probably my favorite bike here which is probably why they put it next to the front door isn’t it let’s be honest Z h2r never ridden one never ridden a kosaki never ridden a supercharged Kawasaki this is yours £1,900 it’s a 70 plates so that’s late 2020 3,700 M on it part of me likes the naked supercharged thing whether I’d like it for scratching I’m not sure I think it probably feel a little bit heavy but it’s a cool bike for that price Fireblade yes look at this again very new how much is it 138 it’s a 2022 Fire Blade for just under 14 Grand with 1,800 mil on it good Lord that is yeah that’s a big reduction in price but anyway onto my depreciation hero couple of them in here can you guess what it’s going to be it starts with Speed Triple and ends in RR these things were not loved by buyers I remember michaeles absolutely hated his longterm one maybe that’s a bit unfair but look these are 18 Grand they still are 18 Grand actually £92,000 with 2,000 Mi on it yeah if you want to be uncomfortable on a Speed Triple get one of those there’s three of them in here oh 1198 s m old buy kind of red one of these £ 7,890 and then add about 4 grand for maintenance but it’ll be worth it because it’ll roast your bottom in the most exciting ways 1199 panagar my first ever panagar well the first ever panagar first one of these I ever rode was in Milton Kings I worked at boxine group and jaat bought their track of bikes to the office anyone had a bike license can go terrify themselves at lunchtime I did exactly that it was scary it was wild it was quite entertaining and very top Endy and this s model is still 14 Grand 82,000 mil that feels expensive I’m sure it’s not and the last ones I guess 10,400 that’s a late 2018 plate couple of our ones here I like this color scheme on the R1 £1,900 13,000 Mi on it someone’s done their miles on their 2016 R1 this one’s a 2021 with similar mileage actually and um yeah floppy lever protector enough said if you want a cheapish GS 1200 I think this is one of the last air oil C ones this is 2009 bike this one is 7 Grand it’s 2009 it’s only done 12,000 Mi that’s not even run in yet mate that looks quite tidy h i’ love to have a go on a proper old GS and then we’ve got some newer ones down here and some 1250s as well this 1250 is 10 grand 16,000 M on a 2019 plate that looks quite smart obviously of these you want to make sure it’s got all the electronic suspension yada it yada it yada it then we’ve got the more middleweight KTM 790s 890 Adventures there’s a lot of them I wonder if p& just left these here when they moved out this one looks very very shiny and new what are you 20 23 bike 890 Adventure 8 Grand with 1,000 M on it I mean why would you buy a new one even with ktm’s discounts just buy a lightly used one from somewhere like this rather tellingly one of the sold bikes over there is a 10700 someone’s got the right idea right I’m going to leave it here the jaati Super Sport S I love these on the road if you want a road going jaati that isn’t a panagar V2 these are epic the earling suspension on these are so comfortable you got loads of grunt from the engine yours for £ 6,800 15,000 mi on it I think that’s a bit of a billy bargain £7,200 for this one with 9,000 Mi 2017 bike if you can get over the kind of the looks and the fact that you’re not riding a panag garley these give you all a jaat feeling without the back ache so there we have it quick look at Super bite Factory down here in Crawley and actually to be honest the stock was in much better condition than I’d heard I’d heard some kind of horror stories about bikes going rusty in the show not being prepped not being well looked after and all the rest of it actually it was all fine it’s just interesting seeing the used prices of bikes with that massive selection this isn’t an advert for them but it is quite depressing just reviewing new bikes and having to list these ridiculous prices I know everyone’s getting them more finan or the rest of it but if you want a bargain you have to buy used don’t you preferably a used mt10 SP actually just as a little coder to that visit to superbite factory I’ve never seen nature as busy as it was in there just now there were a lot more people browsing than I ever saw when it was jaati KTM Suzuki and uh all the other brands Honda so yeah all power to them hopefully they keep uh keep people biking bring more people in was a young lad there buying his first full 4 power bike I love seeing things like that cuz it reminds me that maybe our he’s not going to die like all the Doom Lords seem to be saying me included anyway thank you for watching goodbye

  1. I’ve been riding for 60 years and I’ve bought exactly 1 bike new off the showroom floor. Save your money buy used and preferably from an individual.

  2. I had a px agreement with SBF this January, all calls recorded for training purposes, documented on text and email. This was on a Friday and the Monday was planned to arrange delivery. I received a text on the Monday reneging on the deal and offering me £2500 less for the PX and would I like to proceed on that basis!
I declined the new offer, found d the same model bike from an independent dealer and made a deal with a PX value slightly higher than SBF first, agreed offer.
Deal with SBF at your peril.

  3. If i was 20 years younger i would love to have the Rocket 3, I'm in my mid 70's now & happy with bikes & scoots under 200cc My last road bike i bought in during my late midlife crisis at Sixty-5 years old was a Hayabusa sport touring machine that I traded a custom 1999 Kawasaki 800cc "Drifter" which was a V-twin Indian chief clone with the full fender skirts ect.For a small retro cruiser that Drifter bike was a joy to ride, Kawasaki also made a 1500cc version of the same Indian style bike and it was one of the worst handling bikes i have ever owned and rode. i rode it a hand full of times and i couldn't get rid of that thing fast enough.Always loved British bikes, back in the mid Sixties I rode Vintage BSA A-10 & Triumph Bonne, also had a '73 Norton 850 Commando Roadster, but out of the 100+ bikes of nearly every make i've owned, my all time favorite was the Triumph 200cc cub, I had a Cub set up for cafe and a Mountain Cub, beautiful thumper sound, great handling, reliability and fuel economy. The only 2 bikes i ever bought from a dealer.

  4. I often take a ride up to Superbike factory at Donnington. Great cafe and great place to view hundreds of bikes, especially if you wish to look at a particular model. They do have a strict no touching or sitting on the bikes policy which I believe is to protect customers clothes from picking up dirt from the bikes on display.

  5. There are no second hand bikes unless people buy new ones. If the push to buy second hand goes up over new then 2nd hand supply will drop and prices will rise.

  6. I think if you have some knowledge together with the choice and lower price sbf is an option. After all someone must be buying from them ❤, also as a KTM owner omg what a tremendous dry teeth inspiring bike 😂😂. Horses for courses, that's why there's so many incredible very different bikes 🎉🎉😊

  7. SBF is probably the biggest reason bike dealers are disappearing, then, when you want to get your SBF bike serviced you’d better be handy with your spanners as the proper bike shop is now gone.

  8. Never mind used…I bought a NEW Suzuki Avenis 125 scooter for ZAR 32,850 in terrorist South Africa….that's about £1,386😅 In UK you pay £2,700 new for same scoot, all manufactured in Suzuki India. The Brits need to protest…you're being taken for a ride.

  9. It's a solution for me. Currently closing a deal on a '22 Speed Twin 1200. New RS version is $18K OTD-$8500 more than the OTD price on the '22. 🙂

  10. I test rode both 1300 GS & GSA, a week later test rode a 2019 1250GSA liked it , bought it and saved AUD$20,000. I had a few 1250’s before the GSA and like the feel of the 1250 engine more.

  11. I've noticed superbikefactory are quite expensive but end of the day they have to make profit, only downside is depending on the superbikefactory some bikes are in absolute terrible condition. I'd suggest visiting CMCBikes, don't have to ask to sit on bikes you just sit on them and its good stock. you can also ask to start bikes there

  12. That's some good prices. Taking that 1198s. Maybe that first multi also.. hated the heat on the 1199 coming up your leg from the exhaust when riding in slow in town.

  13. Don’t get finance through these get it yourself as these will charge you and label it as admin costs, I received my bike from these and was happy with the bike but it wasn’t until I took a closer look that I noticed it had had it’s tracking system taken off. I rang them up straight away and after some digging they told me it had been dismantled because it was draining the battery but if I wanted to order another one they would refund the cost, I was just in the process of ordering one when I had my bike stolen and by the time the police found it the thieves had done so much damage it ended up being a right off. The one thing I was annoyed with was the bike was alarmed and yet it never went off so weather when they disconnected the tracking system they must’ve altered the alarm in some way, I guess I will never know now and my only advice is check the bike thoroughly if your doing a trade in over the phone like I was because once they have gone you have lost your bike.

  14. Avoid this place at all costs, the after-sales service is absolutely atrocious. If you happen to get a bike that’s been well looked after, consider yourself lucky. But chances are, you’ll end up with something that hasn’t been properly serviced. And if the worst happens, you’re on your own, they have no interest in helping you.

  15. Great video worth a visit, just traded in my one year old MT-07 2024 for a new MT-07 Y-AMT 2025, took it for a test drive last week and wow what a lovely bike. Have had in the past BMW 110 GS which I had for 8 years great for touring. 🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍

  16. They supposedly have a 120 point inspection, I got an SFV650 and it needed a new clutch, which I discovered when riding out of the showroom, then once the clutch was done, it needed new brakes (which I did privately and they reimbursed me)

  17. Loved the video! I'm 56 now and had a Yammaha FJ1200 when I was 26! 30yrs ago! The only thing about it was you couldn't open it up going round bends as it only liked going in a straight line! Had some scary misses because of it! Was it me or the bike! 🤔🤔🤔
I know it had been dropped and the forks were just very slightly out but that's all.

  18. No wonder dealers are going bust, especially here in Scotland. When buying a new 21 tenere I couldn't get a test ride, dealer not interested so ordered the bike online delivered for £1.5k less. Went too BMW Glasgow last week after no reply from them through email . Turned up the next day for a test ride on a 14k used approved RT and got ignored for over a hour. Eventually got a sales assistant to serve me and tell me can't get test ride till next week. Went back on the Monday to be told can only ride it on the road in front and it was on reserve with no fuel in it. Then to be told they don't like giving test rides as it puts miles on bikes.
I've been refused test rides now 5 times in Scotland over 30+ yrs but never once in England. Everyone knows if you try a bike & love it you'll buy it but not the Scottish dealers.

  19. as a biker i dont want good suspension i dont want good brakes i dont want abs i dont want stability control electronics help bollox , looks like ill be buying a honda gb350s ooshhh thats what biking is about all those plastic bikes are garbage they would never put a smile on my face even if you gave them all to me.
