    Yes. Fortunately wheels can be pretty cheap and will generally last a good number of years (depending how hard you ride)

    I find the Shimano ones are the best value normally

  2. It’s not going to fail catastrophically from one spike or that small of a crack. I would ride home gingerly and then replace it.

    I rode some 200 km while touring with that. But cycling fast is out of the question.

    Depends on how far away from home you are. I’ve unknowingly ridden on cracked wheels like this. It just got progressively more wobbly. I wouldn’t set on a fresh ride

  5. You can ride it home if you’re out but straight home or to the shop. It’s cooked

  6. Just had the same issue last week. Alloy wheel set, 2 years and 1 month old. About to start a stage race in Italy when I noticed 2 cracks at spokes.

    Rode the race on it but cracks were a big bigger in the end. So you can do some more rides but yeah, risky.

    I’m trying to get a new rim as warranty case but doubt it – wear and tear. Maybe worth a try for your case too?
