My first xbikeish build!

I just did a refresh of this Diamondback Ascent EX from the early nineties. Quite subtle changes really. I mostly removed stuff, added new handlebar, tires, breakpads, slowreleases, shift/break wires and a 🔔. The bike was really in great condition, originally bought by my wife in the early nineties, but not ridden that much, just turned into a everyday bike and neglected. So a bit of rust here and there. I also replaced quite a few rusty bolts, treated the frame and components with rust remover and polished it. Went through all bearings. I’m really happy with the result. Wife’s response was that she will never use it.
