I found this on marketplace for the cheap and it needs a bit of loving. I don’t know that I’ve had a bmx bike since 98’ (powerlight rip).
Excited to rip around town but would love to make this thing a bit more fun. Is Albies legit? I have all of this in my cart for $175. Seat, seatpost, rear brake, seat collar, grips, chain, sprocket and some pads. Thought seemed like a good facelift to this thing.
Any advice or things you’d for-sure do on a city ripper for a 41 year old?

Albe’s is fully legit – no worries there – if u question ‘fitment’ of parts, simply ask them (or PowersBMX). Have fun! 👍
i would recommend, at least, the shimano dxr br-mx70, better v-brakes, better break pads. The lever is BL-MX70, a tad more expensive but they’re really good.
