Was looking to upgrade my older road bike to something lighter. Shimano dura ace 9100 11speed groupset w/ultegra r8000 crankset. size 54. Please let me know if that’s a good price, also any advice in regards to this bike. Thank you all in advance.

Here’s some other details the seller sent me
– Tokyo Wheels Epic 5.6 wheelset
(55mm front 65mm rear)
– Rear: Almost new 28c Continental GP5000 STR tyre (only about 200 km). Not setup tubeless.
-Front: Brand new 28c Schwalbe Pro One TLE. Not setup tubeless.
– 400mm Giant Contact SL handlebars(alloy)
* white profile design bar tape in good condition but might need replacing if you care about aesthetics
– 90mm Giant Contact SL stem(alloy)
– Prologo Saddle
2017 Giant TCR Advanced Pro 0 full carbon road bike(frame, fork, wheels) in excellent condition. Some scuffs/scratches on the frame(only noticeable upclose) but no major and no cracks. Serviced regularly.
It looks like you are somewhere drier and warmer than me, but where I am a 7 year old rim brake TCR won’t have a lot of buyers. Looks in nice shape but I bet you can pay more like 1500 (maybe).
$2000 feels steep for an 8+ year old bike.
Looks like the frame is circa ~2016-2017 based on the color-way. Dura ace 9100 came out 2016 as well.
Yep here is the bike:

MSRP was $2375.
Aftermarket wheels, I’m not sure what they are worth, but they don’t seem high end or anything. Maybe +$500 over the old wheels at most.
$1750 would be better.
Things like bar tape and tires do not add any value to a used bike…
hit em with the 1500 have it ready

This is not the place for these questions.
I sold my sl4 for 1500, with force, enve everything I’d take him down to 1200 cash.
for a price reference.. i just sold a TCR with the same frameset/year and very similar wheels, with 105, and i struggled to sell it for $600. that included a power meter and 2nd wheelset. $2000 is way too much. i’d offer $1200 maybe
No. But it is pretty.
TCRs are great. Like the DeLLs of bikes. You can do better
No
i sold a bike just like that for 1k, it had ultegra 6800 and aluminum wheels. this one is quite a bit nicer, provided no blemishes or anything. I would say $1500 is fair, but the market for rim brakes are tiny. 1200-1300 is possible if the seller doesn’t care. 2k is too much. at 2k, he will get very few offers, so if you’re patient, time is on your side.
rim brakes are cool (as well as the bike when it came out) but if you don’t go hydraulic disc brakes you really narrow down your rim selections. i speak from experience.
