Now proud owner of a Bottecchia Gravel Overland 2025. Runs on a Shimano GRX 1×12 (40T/10-51) setup, with Fulcrum Lite ER wheels and Vittoria Terreno Dry.

Must admit I now understand why many people are fans of non-proprietary parts. I like the fully integrated handlebar/stem (and seat post), but still on the fence whether the reach is a bit far. Now I can’t easily swap out e.g. the stem… I had quite the stiff neck after 120km in 2 days last weekend, but tell myself it’s me needing to get used to the racier body position. Been stretching ever since!

Either way I’m really happy so far especially considering I paid well below €2k.

  1. Any thoughts as to why the bar tape stops just after the hoods and isn’t used on the tops?

    Nice looking bike btw!

Glad to see Bottecchia is still around. I wonder if they sell these in the US?

That is a nice looking ride. Italians really do make beautiful machines.
