Hey guys, I went to tune up an old bike and got nearly talked into this Emonda ALR 5 with mechanical 105 and hyd brakes. It will come with these Aeolus wheels (Elite TLR 35's) + stock. All in plus tax is 2994, is this a good deal, is it worth it? I would come from a (don't judge) Marlin 6 with road-ish tires.

I would not pay $3000 for a used aluminum bike with base level carbon wheels. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great bike, but nearly $3000 is way too much. $2000 is much more reasonable.
