I never liked the yellow wall tires and prefer black tires on black rims. These tires look better on silver rims

Tan sidewalls are the in thing/trend, maybe fad in the gravel cycling world. I’ve seen them in all colors of frames. Ride them till they wear out and then, if the trend is still going strong, get a pair of tan sidewall colored tires. If it is/was just a fad, change them to the new trend or just black sidewalls which color never goes out of style.

  3. I love Challenge tires so much, I’d still use them if they were neon green.

One day they’ll make a semi knobby 650b tire in the HTLR casing.

I don’t think it’s the tires but the colour of the BIKE that’s clashing with the tire color.

I prefer black walls myself but I wouldn’t replace a good set of tires if they performed well.

  6. I wouldn’t switch them out just for the color but when it’s time for some new ones then I’d go with solid black tires. You’ve got black bars, seat, bag and fork so it would just streamline your color scheme.
Looks like a fine ride ahead what ever the tires.

They looks pretty aesthetically pleasing to me. Makes your bikes color pop.

This is fantastic. I’m a sucker for tan sidewalls and with the red it’s *chef’s kiss*.

  9. Those look great although I have seen that there are orange Gravelking tires. That might look cool too.

They’re far too clean and that bike looks far too static. Get riding and get some black tyres for it next year when there’s barely any black left on this set. Then you can retire these to your shed wall to sit amongst all your race plates

Doesn’t look terrible, but to me the white details throw it off a little bit. I’d go black but only when they are dead.
