if you ever removed freehub you would seen pawls and those pawls engage with drive ring which screws into the hub. When you are pedaling pawls are tightening drive ring but when you skidded freehub was spinning and hub stopped causing drive ring to unscrew just scre it back in and pedal.

If the lockring isn’t properly tightened, then by skidding to a stop you are applying pressure to the cog in the unwind direction, which will work itself loose.

Those threads are now fucked. My guess is the cog wasn’t on tight and neither was the lockring
