


Hi guys ! Bought a new fork for my old mtb, fox float 32 rc , the brake calipers adapters are side mounted ? But the forks I have , have a different mount, the fox forks is what I’m trying to get the calipers to mount on. Any help would be appreciated I’m a noob to mtb and different parts

The brake adapter will solve this issue. Tell your shop this info, along with your rotor size, and they will set you up.
That’s what most disc brake mounts on suspension forks (except for Manitou) used to be back in the day – IS (International Standard) mount.
What you need is an IS to PM (post mount) caliper adapter, specific to your rotor size – I’m guessing either 160 or 180 mm.
The side mount is called International Standard (IS).
The mount on Pic 3 is called Post Mount (PM)
The brake caliper you have is a Post Mount.
You need an IS to PM adapter in whatever size rotor you want to run. They are Front and Rear specific. For an old 32RC I’d recommend a 160.
