just got this fuji roubaix off marketplace for $200 in central texas. owner was very obviously into bikes, he had probably 15 more meticulously mounted in his garage. he said he got this one in 2010 and had recently replaced the seat, tires, chain, and brake lines. handlebars are also very recently re-taped. it seems to be in pretty immaculate condition so i was wondering what you all thought it might be worth

Hi, I would say this bike is worth around $200, maybe a bit more, if you can find a buyer. Seems like a nice bike, but the color of the seat makes my eyes hurt. It doesn’t match the rest of the bike imo.

A giveaway are the skewers, if they’re pointed a certain way to make it look tidy (in my area its front skewer level to the ground pointing to the back, hind skewer pointing to the seat, like on the pic)
For 200$ you made a very sensible purchase, more expensive bikes are only gonna be marginally faster!
What groupset does it have?
just a tip for future bike photography: take pics of the other side instead, as that’s where most components are.

I sold these at Performance Bike back in the day, it’s an early 2010s model, decent Mavic Aksium Race wheels. Probably the Sora group? $200 is about right if it’s well kept and especially if consumables like chain, tires/tubes and cables have been replaced. It’s just the right price to get you obsessed enough to spend $2k+ on the next one lol
