enthusiastic people cheering her on rihanna Marcus versus Mara Ralden versus FDI Suez with yeah Kristen Forn in this group quite possibly our new race leader so sad for Mara Ralden that she lost touch with that first group yesterday uh due to a mechanical problem but this might be the ultimate redemption for the 21-year-old from Canada we’re inside the final 1 kilometer inside the final kilometer she’s giving everything that she has rihanna Mara seems to be losing a little bit of terrain and I think that she will on the climb here we go the final climb for Mara Roll and she’s giving everything that she has left in that body of hers ooh this is the steep inside of the corner yeah this is not something that Rihanna Marcus can do and I think the Pelaton or the Chasing Group what’s left of the Pelaton will be too late as well this is 500 m still to go it might be the most painful 500 m of her career mara Ralden she’s about 80 m 100 m in front of Rihanna Marcus who’s still powering on on a very very small gear and the the group another few meters back kristen Forkner moving to the front right now and this is the steepest part done now for Mara Ralden on her way to quite possibly her first world to win she She’s going to do it a very very courageous attack 15 km out set up by almost the entire picnic pastel team it was absolutely true teamwork mara Ralden 21 years young in a in a style that is very laboring it looked like she she was already out of power 15 km ago but there’s so much power so much energy in that body smiling grimacing mostly on her way to the finish line but she is doing it she’s getting her first big professional win her first world tour win and her first big win of the year for Picnic Posanel remember that name Mara Ralden wins stage two what a day for the young Canadian and now we have to count the seconds as well to see what Rihanna Marcus can do now she’s not going to take over the lead in GC she does take six seconds and it is Wallist in fourth chastraat Ferguson Swinkles up there as well i do think just that Kristen Forn is going to take over the lead but the woman of the day the woman of the hour is is Mara Rald and I’m I’m hoping that we’ll get a post race interview and hear her story when she’s when she call her breath cuz Danny that was spectacular that was a stunning victory from Mara Ralden and I’m so delighted for her the young Canadian rider only 21 years of age it was a really strong performance by the whole of the team they had the strength and depth in that front group but that attack she gave it absolutely everything she had her style completely belied the power that she had and that was just fantastic to watch you can see her here just coming into the last 100 meters to go attacking the bike with everything that she’s got left her head dipping rocking and rolling but was able to hold off rihanna Marcus behind to take the biggest win of her career her first World Tour victory in the Lloyd Bang Tour of Britain Women what a performance that is definitely a grimace on her face look at the smiles will come straight after and she puts her hand to her mouth she cannot believe it there’s Lizzie Dykeman but we all love a breakthrough victory don’t we yeah two of the teammates who’ve been working so incredibly hard to set up uh Mara Roland the entire team was up there it was perfect teamwork team led by uh the winners on the floor Helen Ferguson i think Kelvin Deck is out there as well what a win what a day for Mara Ralden and um yeah just like you said a little while ago Danny we are going to hear a lot more from her this is just a this is just the start of something big absolutely it is and team picnic personnel have obviously sensed that potential but already with a world tour victory to her

It would be good if they actually said where exactly it is.
Why are the distances so short?
This commentary is so much better than that on the BBC. I'm having to watch it there since TNT's ridiculous price hikes in the UK 😢
