we brought scooters to the world’s most toxic skate park to see if the skaters actually hate us and it was a bad idea this is Burnside Skate Park and apparently someone was stabbed here just for riding a scooter and I want to investigate but on the way there I was getting super scared because people say that skaters here hate scooter riders don’t pull up here if you’re a scooter kid and they’re already trying to kick us out scooter but I’ve always wanted to prove these kind of people wrong about scootering so we rode [Music] anyway but that’s when some random skater hit my friend on on purpose so I decided to ask the skaters why it’s like this but most of them are pretty nice and wanted to try my scooter but one guy just wouldn’t leave us alone

  1. READ ALL: The full video is linked at the bottom of this for the full context..

I also want to highlight that this park was built by skaters and it is not the park itself that is “toxic”. It is just a few people that do not respect scooter riders and take it too far; 90% of skaters are kind to us. I respect the park and how much it has impacted skateboarding and how legendary it is as well. It has done a lot of positivity things

The goal of this video is to spread acceptance of scootering and show that we can ALL use a park and get along. A sport should not be blacklisted from any park.

  2. Scooters become to skateparks what Nickleback was to music from like 2010-2020 (Covid really made people realize they got caught up in other peoples' opinions)

  3. That was clearly not on purpose, guy filming was absolutely in the way and not paying attention to his surroundings.

Why would he purposely endanger himself by intentionally crashing?
Scooter folk need to remember we don’t have handles and steering, it’s much more difficult to avoid obstacles that appear out of nowhere, especially when coming off a trick.

  4. As someone who has skateboarded for 25 years….This is so stupid. You think all skateboarders follow the rules of the skatepark? Just gatekeeping. Spread love, not BS. I dont discriminate what kind of wheels you're riding, as long as you're not a dick. Simple!

  5. Just so you know, Jesus loves you and he wants to have a relationship with you. If you repent of your sins and give your life to him then he will make you new and make your life better. In Jesus name I pray that you will accept him, Amen

  6. I can’t call myself a legit skater but I tag along with my friend who actually is and we love it when a kid can actually do some crazy shi on scooter.

  7. So skaters hate on scooter kids now? Wow! Skating is really main stream now I guess. Now skaters are the cool kids. It definitely wasn’t this way in the 80s and 90s. We took so much crap from everyone and couldn’t skate anywhere.
