Hi, I bought my ultimate a few months ago and have put around ~1.5k km on it.
I started to notice that one of my leg had the tendency to touch the side of the saddle from time to time. I thought it was a fit issue. But upon inspection I noticed that the saddle is bent (see picture).
I’m not overweight (75kg) and beside a few cobblestones from time to time, I’m gentle with it.
In your opinion, could it be a material fault (in which case, could canyon sent me a new one ?) or bad installation/usage ?
It never happened to me on my other bikes so I’m a bit clueless here, has it already occurred to some of you ?
Thanks in advance for any insights !

I think reach out to canyon and they can help you.
I’m trying to imagine using something for that long and then expecting a company to send me a new one just because I broke it, wild stuff.
I’ve had a Selle Italia SLR break – the rail came out of the right position at the the rear of the saddle. That was after about 18 months use and I got a warranty replacement. So yes I would expect it to be replaced.
I have this exact saddle and mountingsystem and I felt like mine was bent as well. It also makes clicking sounds when I go over bumps sometimes.
I bought it separate from the bike but I will contact Selle with this seeing your post!
On my Grizl too.
I even changed the seatpost for the leafs leafspring one and its still not straight so it’s probably the frame itself. I do feel a slight imbalance in force while on the bike.
I don’t think I’ll contact them, after all, I have almost 6000km down on the bike. But still.
I had the same thing on my Ultimate when I received it. Noticed it after 2 rides.
I contacted Canyon, who sent me to one of their repair partners for inspection. Turns out the frame was not manufactured properly and wasn’t straight. They sent me a new bike afterwards.
After 3 years the same problems lol same with my November 2022 Ultimate, bought right away a prologo and threw that horse selle italia shit in the bin
Take off the saddle and re-install it. Make sure to hold it perfectly straight the whole time you are tightening her up. Mine will also be all over the place unless I hold it in line. Then tighten all screws to spec using torc wrench, they probably came loose letting the saddle slip to the side over time.
