Getting back into cycling after a few years off during grad school and found this awesome deal for a used customized Fezzari Empire SL Pro for $2000. Required me to drive 2.5 hours one way into the mountains for it, but well worth it. Deal included Enve seatpost/handlebars, carbon pedals, tubeless Zip 303s wheel set, and shoes (did the math, bike comes out to about $5000-5500 MSRP with everything).
Seller had ridden this 3-4 times before he figured road biking wasn’t for him (the bike looks almost brand new), and was just looking to give it to someone who’d appreciate it. I didn’t even try to haggle him since it was such a great price, but he liked my girlfriend and I so much he randomly told us to take $200 off the price and use it to go to a nice dinner since we had driven so long.
