With the discount code, this bike comes out to less than $500. I’ve never heard of this particular brand, and have never owned an electric bike. Any thoughts on this deal? Happy to show it off in case it helps anyone else land a decision.

The “trick” is it’s not worth anywhere near $3000. Still, sub $500 seems like a pretty good deal. Don’t expect the quality to be great though, you’re going to end up paying more over time replacing parts than you would just buying a decent brand up front. Most likely, YMMV.
