A local small company messaged me, and ask me to borrow my Bike for a product shoot. I also got one pair of the rack. And they asked me for my opinion and if I could ask around because they want to have a better understanding on how the market might be for something like this.
I think this is gonna sell for around 35 bucks, like many other Bike related products. It seems to be an eco-friendly company, Focusing on sustainability and the wood seems good quality, product comes in White, black and natural wood.
it seems to be more oriented to road bikes, which I find it more appealing for the general biking displaying,
But they wanted to showcase. It’s supports some mountain bikes as well.
I want to give them a really honest opinion on what the market thinks about it, so would appreciate if you guys tell me your thoughts on this product! I’m not trying to advertise them nor got paid to do this post. they’re genuinely asking the local scene to get positive feedback.

So… just two dowels? I did a quick search. Didn’t see any additional photos. I would like to know how those dowels are mounted to a wall. Without that detail I remain skeptical.
as an owner of a carbon bike, that’d be a no from me dawg. i know the impact is less than say a car rack but i dont care, im not risking anything with an expensive bike
Maybe without a wheel in the front it’s fine. Having a wheel contact the wall is going to push the bike out too far from the wall for my liking. Plus the wall is gonna get super dirty quickly. There’s too many ways to accomplish the same or better for less.
Yea that’s a no for me
Unrelated question but is that custom paint on your chisel??
It appears to be two sticks.
Only works if your bike is clean. Extends a lot into the room so no option for smaller spaces.
If you have enough space to hang a 29“ always clean on a wall, you probably have space to just store the bike in a dedicated area (garage)
The real question is how much are these sticks going for?
I dislike it, the idea is not good. It is also not the prettiest solution.
-the wall will be dirty all the time
-The whole tire is sticking out, if somebody walks around the bike and pushes it accidentally there is a huge chance the whole bike falls on the ground since it is very close to the stick’s edge.
-There should be more information about mounting the wooden sticks to the wall. Some bikes are pretty heavy and I doubt two screws to be strong enough for a full suspension electric mountain bike.
– It is not a universal solution for mounting different bikes to a wall, for example I have a 26″ bike, and after that I want to mount a 29″ bike – it will not work without using longer sticks and changing them/screwing them again (not to mention that all bikes have different geometry and frame shape, so it will not fit them 100%).
– I see there are two lengths of the sticks but it is hard to understand which size suits which kind of tire diameter.
– The price is very high, 35$ for two wooden sticks with a little bit of rubber on them + 2 screws is a lot of money.
