I recently purchased the Quadlock Stem Cap Mount for my Canyon Grizl 5, but I’ve run into a small issue, the original screw is a few millimeters too short. Has anyone else encountered this? I believe a longer m4 screw might be the correct replacement, but I’d appreciate recommendations on the ideal length or any alternative solutions you’ve found.

Isn’t the steer tube too thick for the Quadlock mount? I thought it was for a 1 1/8” steer tube and Canyon Grizl uses a 1 1/4”. That’s probably the length issue because it is not going over the steer tube and then the cap would hold that down.
