welcome to Glasgow for the final stage of the Lloyd’s Tour of Britain 82.2 kilometers laps in Glasgow on this Sunday morning with three intermediate sprints that will be very important for the general classification yesterday Cat Ferguson won the stage and she is our race leader in the green leaders jersey but she’s only got 3 seconds on the woman there in red Ali Wallist and with three two and 1 seconds for each and every intermediate sprint that is a possible nine and then 10 six and four on the finish line so still everything to play for so FDG Suez they worked hard to keep the pelaton together alongside other teams who were interested in a bunch sprint like uh E of Education Oakley and ST Works Pro of course with Lor Neos the first intermediate sprint at 50.4 4 km from the finish in sunny Glasgow in the green jersey Cat Ferguson she goes into that last corner in first place but on the line Alli Wallist takes the 3 seconds over two bonus seconds for Ferguson and that means the gap between the two is now 2 seconds only in the general classification we did see attacks short-lived by Anna Morris amongst others but we will be cruising full gas towards the second bonus sprint in the city center of Glasgow fd Suez doing the lead out there we also see Lorena Vivas the European champion with Cat Ferguson on her wheel lorena Viva seems to be going for that intermediate sprint but she has no interest in those bonus seconds this is just to see what the sprint is like at full speed and in a photo finish yet again Ali Wallist takes 3 seconds with 2 seconds for Ferguson and that brings the gap virtually in the general classification down to just 1 second yeah Cat Ferguson she was testing her rear wheel to see if it held enough pressure and then it was decided that she would have a bite change swiftly by the Movie Star T mechanic and she would make her way back towards the front of the Pelaton to contest that all important third intermediate sprint on the wheel of Floyd Makai and the allo important Bianik cat Ferguson came back to the front sprint preparation then for the third intermediate sprint yet again it’s red versus green alli Wallist in red and on her wheel Cat Ferguson the 19year-old from Great Britain and quite easily Ali Wallist who has got so much experience on the track doing points racing and Madison racing takes home the third sprint and that means they are now in the same time alli Wston made up 3 seconds on Cat Ferguson in these intermediate sprints so it would all come down to the final sprint to the line anna Morris on the attack yet again the team an individual pursuer in an absolutely beautiful style but there were many teams out there interested in a bunch sprint picnic Postel of course with Shalot Cole ST works pro time were there with Lorena Vibas we had um Kakon Sony out there as well Ninka Fenhov and Martina Vidansa for Vizma Lisa bike all these teams interested in pink of course if Education Oley with Bett and then that final sprint and the lead out for Lorena Vivas the European champion she dives into that final corner in first place 200 meters to go and good luck getting past Loreno Bibas at this speed that is virtually impossible she wins the stage shalot has to settle for second and Lucas there in third place in that red jersey ali Wiston she picks up four bonus seconds and with that she wins the Lloyd’s Tour of Britain overall classification viva takes the final stage but Alli Wiston of the FDC Sue team brings home the overall classification in the sunny streets of Glasgow on this lovely Sunday morning dora Viva Shalot to call Wallace Consorti Vonwolf Anderson Ferguson Giri Zaneti and Vain Hover is the top 10 on the stage but the overall winner is the rider from New Zealand Alli Wallist winning three intermediate sprints and coming third on that final sprint on the podium with Caroline Swinkles and with Cat Ferguson what an amazing edition of the Tour of Britain with Wallist Ferguson Swinkles Marcus Vanam Lut Jastra Henderson Tom and Cousins after 4 days of intense racing

  1. Is it of me, or this race had really low attendance from spectators? Even on the weekend stages with Cat Ferguson doing so well. I really hope it doesn't influence the decision to organize the race in 2026.
