After posting here, I got a lot of good comments and suggestions. I checked out three bike shops around me and I found a few options which I think hit the sweet spot? Prices in CAD
- Specialized Diverge E5 Elite 2025, on sale for $2250
- Runs GRX 400, and GRX600 Crank, Hydraulic Brakes
- I really like the fact that the stock tires have a strip of slick in the middle, I think that will save me alot of energy for road?

- Devinci Hatchet A GRX 20s, on sale for $2400
- Runs GRX 400, GRX36-46t crank, Hydraulic Brakes
- Is this a really good deal? It was MSRP for 2900

- Giant Revolt 1, regular price at 2200
- GRX 400 everything except front derailur (Tiagra), hydraulic breaks, etc. Current year model https://www.giant-bicycles.com/ca/revolt-1-2025
Which one would you pick? And if that one is sold out, what would be your second choice? I think I'm leaning towards the diverge first and hatchet second.

Devinci for a sweet made in Canada bike.
Tubeless means they can be set up tubeless but will come stock with a tube in them. A shop should offer to set them up tubeless for you when you buy the bike. A good shop will probably give you a good deal on a set of Pathfinders pros and can set them up tubeless for you in exchange for keeping the maxxis tires, or might even have a set of non tubeless Pathfinders they might just give you.
Hatchet.
How much pavement vs gravel will you ride?
For faster road rides, the 2by is nice
