I posted on r/whichbike, but I thought I might ask people in this sub as well. Please feel free to delete if I'm overreaching!
After posting here, I got a lot of good comments and suggestions. I checked out three bike shops around me and I found a few options which I think hit the sweet spot? Prices in CAD
- Specialized Diverge E5 Elite 2025, on sale for $2250
- Runs GRX 400, and GRX600 Crank, Hydraulic Brakes
- I really like the fact that the stock tires have a strip of slick in the middle, I think that will save me alot of energy for road?

- Devinci Hatchet A GRX 20s, on sale for $2400
- Runs GRX 400, GRX36-46t crank, Hydraulic Brakes
- Is this a really good deal? It was MSRP for 2900

- Giant Revolt 1, regular price at 2200
- GRX 400 everything except front derailur (Tiagra), hydraulic breaks, etc. Current year model https://www.giant-bicycles.com/ca/revolt-1-2025
Which one would you pick? And if that one is sold out, what would be your second choice? I think I'm leaning towards the diverge first and hatchet second.

I just picked up a new Diverge E5 Elite and love it. It’s a really great bike and you get a lot for the price.
Can’t go wrong with the Diverge. I owned the alloy version a few years ago and the geometry was great. Second choice would be Giant.
Which one makes your heart sing?
Got the diverge elite earlier this year. No regrets.
