Anyone riding Mezcals in XC casing in mixed conditions(ubran/offroad)? What mileage should I expect, before they turn into semi slicks? Most of the time I'm aiming to ride forest trails, gravel etc. but unfortunately I live in big city, so realistically my annual mileage is 50/50%. Last time I had mezcals in wired version and they lasted me about 3,5kkm before I've noticed excessive slipping from rear tire.
Maybe You can recommend something better for that kind of use? Most of the time I'm riding flat gravel routes/ tarmac, but I love the confidence that chunkier tires provide on single tracks and technical trails. Something in range from 48mm to 2.1.

I had xc-trail mezcals 2.1″ on my checkpoint. Lovely tires which rolled great both on and off tarmac. Only downside was that they were super heavy (730g/tire). I don’t know if I just got bad luck with the tire weights or they usually weight so much.
