Is this a common hassle with thunderbolts? I’ve put a drive side cone on the non drive side and the crank arm still can’t cover all the wedges.
The alignment seems to be fairly equal on both sides and I’m happy with that but it still bothers something in me that the cluster is exposed. I had a pair of years ago and haven’t run into this issue. I get the feeling they’ve shaved a few mm from the spindle length to save some tonnage.
By the way the cone covers the spindle up the the nonagon grooving.
How have you dealt with this? Did you give it a few cheeky mallet bumps?

It doesn’t necessarily have to cover the wedge, but obviously a good 90% of it.
That’s completely normal fitment for thunderbolts homie. Nothing to worry about.
As long as your Allen key shows you it’s tight. Send it.
This is normal just make sure you are nice with that copper anti seize
When I ran these cranks that’s how they always looked.
