Is the giant ATX 2022 good?

I will be going on a 6 day bike packing trip in August. I won’t be carrying a ton of things with me (lots of places to stop) so the frame space is more than enough. I will also be using this bike for commuting and maybe will go on 1-2 more bike packing trips. Am I better off continuing to look at Facebook marketplace or buy this bike? My budget is $600 CAD. Thanks. (I’m totally new to this)
