  1. It depends on the condition of the bike. From one picture of the wrong side of the bike it is hard to say. The concern is that there is something that needs addressing. For reasonably clean race bikes I generally suggest asking for around 150-200 off so that you can have it serviced professionally at a bike shop. More if there are worn components. For example replacing a tire with the same type is 80-100. Carbon specific brake pads 20-60 a pair. Replacement DA drivetrain parts start at around 2-300.

For high end bikes understand that you are responsible for a lot of upkeep. Ignoring the upkeep just makes the next service that much more expensive. If you stay on top of changing the chain the cassette and chainrings can last for years. If you don’t then you are looking at the better part of 600-1k to replace major parts of the drivetrain.

  2. The price is fine if everything is good. I can’t tell you that from this poor picture. You will want to ask where it was purchased, and who performs the maintenance. Even meet the seller at the shop and have them inspect it. Talk to the mechanic yourself about recent service work and his impressions of the bike. Doing this you are verifying it is genuine as well as getting a professional opinion. This isn’t the type of bike you can service at home, so you will be having a relationship with this shop as well.
