[Music] Nat Campbell VP of Yeti Cycles hanging out with the guys from silverfish as many dealers as could make it here to Wales going for rides checking out the new bikes talking about bikes drinking some pints here in the last 12 months or so we launched pretty much an entirely new Range pedal as well as updates to the ebike which has been the main focus of this event feedbacks been been excellent the bike rides amazing I think pretty often we hear that it’s sort of the most fun e mountain bike that that people ride and with the new updates to the motor the motor keeps up with the suspension technology now so it’s it’s great to have that confirmed uh my name’s Jasper Johnson I’m riding for silverfish UK before the SP sp60 I had the SP sp150 and that bike was amazing the new SP sp160 is just the easiest way of describing it for anyone that had the old one was 10% better at everything it’s just an outstanding bike climbing descending all of it hi I’m Pete from Madison I do technical support for Shimano and UK so Yeti have got a new bike that’s just been launched it’s got our Shimano EP 801 Drive Unit in it this time around and so we’re having some dealers out on the bikes over the course of the week and I’m here giving a bit more information on the system answer any questions that sort of thing the biggest update has been the battery management system within the battery and then the way it communicates for the Drive Unit along with some smaller updates to some of the performance of The Drive Unit bit more power a lot more adjustability um but overall a lot of the features have remained the same but it’s just increased kind of functionality and adjustability for the end consumer and hopefully a little bit more range from the system as well the yeti is one of the most kind of aggressive ebikes on the market now which lends itself to riding all sorts of trails and perfect for the UK it was amazing like yeah this thing this thing flew the new motor has a real like a kick to it that that mode five is is something else but yeah good fun absolutely love tractor where we went a lot the off piece stuff was really complimentary to steep techy climbs um the new motor was really impressive like Mo five really powerful so been able to just keep the pranks going and the power just really pushed you up anything that we wanted to get up so may laughing out some that off piece bit just the best like love it [Music] what

  1. The problem with the new ep801 is they have not
    Manage to set the DI2. For some reason yeti is using sram new transmision on the ep801 😂

  2. If comments are open for queestions and please could you leave and answer since i own already a 2022 160e t1.
    Any reason you are using a sram transmision on a ep801 motor that can deliver autoshift with di2. If i upgrade my yeti for a new one is for a good reason, but you could not managed to use the ep8 autoshift for 2024 ebikes.
