Curious if anyone has an opinion on the Scott Metrix 30 as a bikepacking option. I’ve been enjoying riding it since I picked it up and since it’s an xxl frame (I’m 6ft5) there’s quite a bit of space for a seat bag, in the triangle, on the top tube, and for a handlebar bag. I’ve already pulled off the fenders, they were flimsy and I don’t want them anyway. I’m just getting into bikepacking, I have done it on someone else’s setup I borrowed and want to get into it more.

This is meant to be a commuter bike – hence the fenders.
Doesn’t look like much tire clearance. Also no fork mounts. Other than those limitations, any bike will do.
