Are we looking at the part of the frame from which you extracted the seatpost? What was the post? Usually I see people wreck the post, not the frame to get a stuck one out, was the post more valuable here?

Me when the titanium thomson seatpost gets stuck in my frame:

If its a steel frame and a aluminium seatpost you can always dissolve the stuck seatpost or quill stem with sodium hydroxide for 2$. (removes paint aswell)
