Since I learned to shoot on a rifle that used stripper clips, the word clip became ingrained in my head. And at 40 years old I still slip up and say clip instead of magazine 😅

Always liked the looks of the old Broomhandle Mauser.
It just had that badass-ahead-of-it's-time look.
I remember when the original GI Joes stores were ALL about mil surplus and we could buy one of these for $29. They also had a new trash can filled with WW-II M-1 rifles. They were $79 each. Wish that I had bought a dozen of each but then I was only 12 years old back in '61. Ah, those were the days of war surplus and real silver money.
