Check the hardware for tightness before each ride. No matter how tight mine are, they always come loose.

  2. I just added those same pedals and picked up some super basic shoes for the spd clips. Just tried them out today and also lived!!!

My big issue is walking around in them when not on the bike. How did those shoes feel with clips on them, looks like they might be recessed a bit so easier for walking.

    👏👏👏

I actually fell over today for the first time ever 😂. My own fault, wasn’t 20 feet from the start of my ride. Forgot to tighten my shoes, went to unclip and my foot shifted inside the shoe vs unclipping. Down I went 👎.

    Right on!

First real ride with clipless pedals (those are “clipless”) i reflexively popped a wheelie to pull my feet out of my toe clips (which were like cages for your toes that i no longer had)
I lost traction on a steep berm and basically fell OFF of it backwards. Helmet probably saved me, and certainly saved me from worse than whiplash since it was all rocks.
