What brand of crank? You might have won the double cross thread lottery also. Let’s just hope it’s mis-machined cranks

Hard to tell from the photo, but looks like your pedals are threaded in wrong.

Hearing some replies from you. Pedals only go in on one side. You have destroyed the threading on the cranks. Go to a bike shop and get new cranks and have them teach you how to install pedals.

thanks for the help everybody! im taking it to the bike shop tomorrow to get new cranks put on and pedals installed…i need them to set up a new set of tubeless tires for me anyways…will keep in mind everything mentioned itt next time 🫡
