This has been a labour of love, my old Claud Butler Majestic Reynolds 531 road/tourer frame frankensteined into a fun light gravel/do it all.

Still a work in progress but so far it's had a 1x conversion, 9 speed cassette upgrade with a SRAM MTB clutch derailleur (forget which one), TRP RRL levers and rune hilt bars added, pelago front rack and the biere de resistance – a euro crate that can carry 48 small cans of beer for hydration purposes and everything else.

Going to do a deep clean of it this weekend and get some glamour shots.

Forget to add new Mavic wheelset added with some chunkier terrano dry tyres (soon to be gravel kings)

Beautiful. I built up a 1981 Majestic myself this year in the same colour. A really comfortable, handsome, versatile frameset, with room for 40mm gravel tyres + mudguards.

I went for 3×9 though (too hilly where I live for 1x, at least for my legs), with some Nitto Albatross bars and friction thumb shifters.
