Nah. I had one that would rub on the underside of the fork if I inflated to more than 100 psi. So I kept it at 90 and rode 1000s of miles with it.

You didn’t have to file anything down so you should be good

Strictly for dry roads I’d run it

Yeah you’re good, might rub if you pick up some mud or debris but dry clean roads, enjoy that improved rolling resistance and aero gain!

Worth remembering that there is very little in the way of conformity regarding tyre sizes. One manufacturers 30mm tyre can measure larger than another’s 35mm so you can’t just assume that if you get the same tyre size from another manufacturer that it will fit.
