The Dorset Gravel Dash.
The second Bank Holiday in May is the date for the 100 mile, Dorset Gravel Dash bikepacking weekend, hosted by the fantastic Square and Compass pub.
Riders have a choice of taking on this event over one or two days. Should you choose the 2 day, then you can take advantage of a wondrous campsite with food, a bar, toilets and enjoy lots chat with like minded folk.
Or you can take it on in a day, starting on the Sunday.
This video gives you an insight into the fun and games.
Big thanks to Charlie Hobbs and Sam Watts, the organisers. Of course they can’t do this on their own and a great band of marshals helps make this a weekend to remember.
Thanks to event sponsors Kinesis Bikes and Teravail Tyres.

That is some spectacular scenery you have there.
Hi Graham. This looks like a lot of fun. I'll try to make it next year.
Hi Graham, love your videos and especially your enthusiasm.
I'm new back to cycling after a long hiatus, now been riding again almost daily.
I would love to join a group gravel ride like in your vid but just don't know where to start? Any ideas?
Is that Puddletown forest on day 1?
Just happy people with really cool bikes – it would’ve interesting to see some of those bikes in details – love the t-shirt with the slogan on the back ( in the beginning of the video ) and thanks for the video Graham !
"I was dragged here!" , Still got the ol' romatic side going lol,
