Hi, a dad here who doesn’t know much about bikes. My son was riding his bike and his pedal came off. I can see that there is a screw in end cap or stop that is missing. Can someone please tell me what this part is called and where I can get one? This is on a Justice BMX bike if that makes a difference.

I think you are referring to the crank arm, not the pedal
There is a grooved spindle that runs through the bottom bracket. The crank arms (chrome pieces) fit onto the spindle and there is a bolt that compresses it on

Hard to see in your picture, but I bet your crank arm bolt is broken off. Can you see the broken end of the bolt still inserted into the end of the spindle?
