E-MTB’s are machines that lets you ride as easy or as hard as you want to. This new generation of bikes gives you the option to enjoy the trails at whichever rhythm you choose, even if you’re injured, tired or just want to relax a bit.

Remember, if you want to go hard, you can still go hard. After all, a bike is a bike, it’s all up to you. So, go tear up some hills.

So, consider hiring a bike and setting off on an exploration. The Tuscan scenery includes ruined castles, medieval chapels and quaint hamlets. En route, experience vineyards, cypress-studded hills, sun-drenched olive groves and fields of poppies or summery sunflowers.

Poggibonsi:

The importance of the area dates from the 10th century, thanks to its position on the Via Francigena, the main road from Rome to France.

From either Florence or Siena, you can reach Poggibonsi by taking the Florence Siena highway and exit at Poggibonsi Sud for the historic center. Poggibonsi is definitely one of the easiest to reach cites in Chianti by public transport. Regular buses and trains from both Florence and Siena.

Gracciano dell’Elsa is a village in Tuscany, central Italy, administratively a frazione of the comune of Colle di Val d’Elsa, province of Siena.
Gracciano dell’Elsa is about 26 km from Siena and 2 km from Colle di Val d’Elsa.

Strove: Strove is about 23 km from Siena and 6 km from Monteriggioni.

The Benedictine monastery at Abbadia a Isola was founded at the start of the year 1000 and around which the village was developed, was built on a strip of land that rose up in the Cannetto swamp (at that time, it was a mixture between a lake and a swamp). The village stands on the edge of the Via Francigena, once a busy medieval highway for pilgrims and merchants. This privileged position helped to increase the monastery’s power, which boasted strategic importance in the Middle Ages.

Enter Monteriggioni and step back in time. A medieval stronghold North of Siena, encircled by well-preserved stone walls and fourteen towers. The hilltop town was built by the Sienese in the thirteenth century to protect their front line from their eternal rivals, the Florentines. Monteriggioni also grew wealthy as a strategic stop along the Via Francigena pilgrimage route.
