I’m looking to do something similar with my Grizl 7 with GRX812. I’ve seen some people online able to make the 11-46 work with just a longer chain, but I’ll be trying the mod where you [replace the derailleur cage with one from a related MTB derailleur like in this video](https://youtu.be/ynpFsE8snww?si=YtpOKKB4rmJI9d4n). Google around and you’ll find some videos of people using the 46 with no mods to varying degrees of success
